880 ex aux send routing

I am having trouble figuring out how to send a signal from say track one out thru an aux send, to an outboard effects unit for processing and back into the 880 EX to another track such as track 3 or whatever. Any tips on setting up the routing. The instruction book only refers to sending a stereo send from tracks 1 & 2 out thru the aux sends.

Hi,the AUX Send can be used as 2 seperate mono sends IF you pan each one hard left and right so that the signals don't get mixed.Set AUX Balance to L63 for the tracks you want to send to one outboard box,and R63 for the ones you want to send to another box.You may notice that you start to run out of VS inputs to plug all this stuff into;if so,get a small mixer like a Mackie 1202 or 1402.

Thanks so much for the info. The darn instruction manual is not too clear on that operation. I do have a Mackie 1604 to use if I run short on inputs!
