does anyone record with 64 bit windows? i know emu has drivers out for my card. should i give it a shot?

i dont think 64 bit windows is on the market yet. Im a mac guy, but it's supposed to be called Windows Vista... Yes i know there was some beta version, windows x64 blah something, but that wasnt official yet, (i dont think). go ahead though!
64-bit windows is indeed available. XP64 is what it is called. I don't recommend moving to it yet. I did, for about a month, and I had so many software and driver compatibility issues, I took it out, and put regular XP back on.
Most soundcard drivers are now available for XP64, but USB drivers are hard to get, as are most M-Audio MIDI controllers. I could not get 64 bit drivers for either my Oxygen8 or my Trigger Finger, and hence those units only worked via midi, and not USB.

I think you should ask the sonar guys since they do have a native 64bit version of it. But in a year or 2 64bit will be the standard for windows so I would wait a minute or two and see how things pan out for DAW on win64, wait for Vista
