the British style is awesome!!! at list something different from the Rockie style that sometimes drives me crazy.

And also, there's a sense in the lyrics, sarcastic but it speaks about something else than the f...ing :plove:p

but i think the mix is missing something, I'm not sure what can be.

i'm listening to the second one now, why don't you try bringing the bass drum louder and the bass to the center to see different angles of the mix?

the guys really like the bass guitar sound,

as for the kick, I struggled with that a bit. It really gets lost in the mix. I think its just lack of good mic'ing. It was really rushed, I chucked the mic's around the kit with no experimentlation, sat the drummer down and did a take, if it was in time, then that was the one! No click.

They aren't in any way mastered, I'm not a fan of volume maximising, but I understand its purpose. I think it would sound more familiar (commercially) after some mastering.
