2488 Transfer issue

I was looking to transfer recorded tracks from my 2488 to a friend's pro tools system to mix. I exported individual tracks to the FAT partition and exported the tracks via USB to a computer. When I checked the files, some transferred correctly, some partially but most not at all. For example- on one song, comprised of 17 tracks, 4 transferred correctly, 10 not at all and on the remaining 3 I only got partial results, the tracks starting to play with only a few seconds left. Any info would be appreciated.

Use the EXPORT function. Things get really wonky when you try to just use the raw files ... takes and punch-in/outs are shorter than the song length, as are some recorded parts that didn't start at the beginning. Using EXPORT solves that problem. Check the manual.
