24/96 - 16/44.1 how?

Ok im having problems with sonar at the moment and i really need to convert a wav i have down so that i can send it as an mp3 to one of my band mates. If anyone could point out a way to do this then i would appreciate it.

File, Export, then select 16 bit + 44100Hz

If it was that simple then i would do it but for some reason im getin a win32 error when trying that.

* Hi...try changing the filename....make sure it has the correct file extension.
If that doesn't work....install another program that has the ability to record....play the file in the program that won't export and record the file in the one you've just installed......it should be xxx.wav [44.1] Then convert it to mp3

uh, changing the file extension will not change the file from a wav to an mp3. All this would do is change the name of the file.

Hi...try changing the filename....make sure it has the correct file extension.
