I currently have (2) 5400 rpm 2 Mb cache drives... 1 is used for program files, the other for audio file data. (C: and D: respectivey)

I just got a free 7200 rpm 8Mb cache IDE drive...

Will I get more of a performance boost using the new 7200rpm drive for data files (D:\), or for my program files (C:\) ???

Thanks!!!

That's what I thought... it also prevents me from having to reinstall my apps... :D Thanks!

Also use your 2nd drive to hold a GHOST image of your installed system. You can cross-pollinate between the two drives to insure you have backups of your projects.

Thanks....
BTW- Say 'hi' to Orangevale... I'm just a few miles away in EDH...
