1st tune in the new basement

Had a client come over to the house to talk about his upcoming project. We ended up scratching in a couple tunes on the native rig. Stock pres in an M-Audio Firewire1814, a Blue Baby bottle and some acoustic instruments laying around. Its noisy but I had some fun with it anyway.

Might just be the headphones im wearing but it seems like it lacks clarity a bit... i'd try to find the mud int he guitar and there is deffinitely some EQ work needed for the vocal when it comes to the low end of the spectrum aswell... it will make that standing bass shine a bit more too (which also sounds boomy, even for standing bass)

on the good side... it sounds like it was tracked very well and the vocals sound nice i like the song a lot... just needs a bit smarter EQ and you got something

Sounds awfully good to me here on my monitors. It sounds like everything was well recorded. It's mixed well, and I'm not hearing anything that is screaming for eq. The vocals sound really good to me. Good instrument spread. Very nicely done.

Although I'm not a big fan of this type of music, I have to say it sounds, recorded and mixed well. I can't really find anything that is screaming for tweaks.
