Hi, i was just wondering if it's possible to add another 8 input channels to the Digidesigns 002 using the ADAT connections and/or another 2 with the spdif connections? If it can be done would i be able to run them all at once? how would you do it? This may be a totally rediculous question but i really don't know. Thanks.

Yes and no. The 8 ADAT lightpipe/optical inputs can be run simultaneously with the 2 SPDIF. But the 002 doesn't have a word clock and thus Protools can only sync to either the ADAT or the SPDIF. This means that you need a way to sync the SPDIF and ADAT units together. If they both have word clock, you're fine. If they don't play together, you may only be able to use one or the other but not both
