Yeah the 100 and 200 series of Taylors are very nice entry acoustics! The reason I went with the 314ce is because its the first and cheapest series of the Taylor line up to be made of solid wood. The 100 and 200 series are the laminate.

I forgot to say... My Taylor 314ce is a 2008 model. I have a Taylor 2008 PS (Presentation Series) Grand Auditorium awaiting me!
