I need some opinions on the drum tracking here. I used 3 Earthworks TC 20's. 2 as overheads, 1 for the kick. Here is an mp3 of the musicians that day warming up, tuning etc. You should of heard some of the REAL stuff they played, quite talented. Let me know your thoughts on the drum tracking...

Can I get some opinions on how drum overheads are mixed after tracking. My initial feeling is the hi end (Cymbals) but more and more opinions I hear are that overheads are to capture the complete kit. I am using Earthworks TC30's for overheads. I must say they capture the entire kit very well...

I have an HD24 set up with Mackie 32-8 analog board and I know switching to a Digital Boards would solve a lot of my problems and less patching. Anyone else using an analog board with the HD24?

I just got this item used for my studio as another device to store sound. Stupid question, does this device use regular DAT tapes? I put one in and it seems smaller then the carrier size on the deck. It keeps spitting them out. Can someone verify what tapes fit this device and is there a web...
