I’m part of the Facebook group about waves, and this coupon has been floating around for the past day. I can confirm it works because I just got the API bundle for 49 bucks instead of 99! If you want to get the most out of this coupon, buying A bundle that is around $100 will save you the most...

Even with my headphone amp turned to the max on my scarlet 2i2, the HD 600s are still too low.
What is the best option, just getting a cheap 50 dollar headphone amp?
Does cost really matter with headphone amps? Is a 300 headphone amp really going to make much of a difference during mixing and...
Hey kidz
I recently did the mic-parts mod for my SP C1 and have compared it to my only other mic (poor student lol) the Mojave MA 201 fet. I am really impressed with the mod.
The following mp3 file contains the Modded C1 (about $335 new if you include the mod and assume you could still buy a new...
hey guys thanks for the support. The computer i want to get has a Intel Core 2 Duo processor (speed . 3.00GHz). Is that alright?
btw, I am running my UA 610 through the line-in of my focusrite scarlet. I know that the line in on these boxes partially goes through an amp circuit before going to...
Hi guys. Long story short, I was depressed for a few years, but have cured my depression through addressing some issues I had with my gut health, and my passion for music-making has returned full speed! Just bought a UA 610 solo and modded my SP-C1 and am very happy with the results I am...
I am a total noob when it comes to audio/digital interfaces, since I haven't bought one in forever. My 1 question: If I get a USB recording interface that has onboard preamps like this...

Hey kids,
welcome to a simple, no-frills mic shootout. There has been no processing of the vocal tracks. Both mics are running through a DAV BG1. Interested to see what people say. Which one do you like more? Which is which?
The C1 goes for $250 new and the Blueberry goes for $1,000 new. both...
Im looking for a plugin that can be used to make soft, meditative, new age/spa music.

You can click on any random time in the video to get a glimpse of the kind of sound I am looking for.
Any suggestions?
This guy's album, besides being amazing, has a specific sound on the vocals that I really want to be able to reproduce:
Evan Goodberry | The Middle of the World | CD Baby Music Store
To hear what I mean, I recommend listening to 10 seconds of the sample on track 8.
The vocals sound so huge...
ok I think I know what you're saying.....so the really expensive EQ's/compressors are expensive and sought after not necessarily because of it's ability to perform the given task (to change frequency/compress a track), but to simply flavor the sound in a way that is sought-after and not...
Why do prices vary so much between compressors and EQ? I use the compressor and EQ that comes with REAPER, and they seem to work excellently. I guess a better way to frame the question I am trying to ask is this: What makes a good EQ or compressor good? The REAPER EQ does exactly what I think...
yeah, it certainly isn't distortion as in digital clipping, it isn't an issue of an overly-hot signal. RAM isn't an issue, I have 8GB, and a quad-core processor. I've experimented with buffer size, even at the largest sizes, it makes no difference. Weird huh?? Anyone have any other suggestions?
ok so I figured out that if I render the track at a slow rate to a WAV, the distortion is gone, it's when I am playing the piece or playing back the midi piece that it gets all snappy and poppy. Does that help?
