I just read a post on here about someone leaving their tascam recorder "on" for a few months and that it is now stuffed up. I just found out that my tascam was left "on" for a few months, but the machine was not plugged into the power but the switch was on. Would this destroy my machine? Thanks.

Hi, I was wondering if I could use the Boss me-30 compression and reverb effects for vocals or do I need a more dedicated unit? If so I might purchase one. By the way, does anybody know if the Boss me-30 contains a chromatic tuner or just a normal guitar tuner. Thanks!

I can't find any rubber cleaning fluid. I live in Australia and want to clean my pinch roller in my tascam 488. In australia, the tascam cleaning kit is not allowed as it is treated as a volite chemical. Can anybody help? I can get head cleaning fluid but not rubber cleaning fluid. Thanks.
