You can use an SSD in a VF160 but not the VF16. Get a IDE to SATA adapter and you can use a SSD drive up to 137gb. Still only 99 programs available but each program is 24 hours long!!! That's a lot of storage. I have one in my VF160 and it works flawlessly and is dead quiet of course, no moving...

EZDrummer 3 is like Superior Drummer in many ways. I love it, and also Superior Drummer. So many options available and the quality is fantastic. If the older version works for you don't change but that latest versions are really good.

The VF16 and VF160 will read a maximum of 137 GB. You can put a bigger drive in but that limit will still apply. I am using an IDE/SATA bridge which works great(apart a few glitches) which allows the use of SATA drives and also SSD drives.
