thanx for info, unfortunately i can't try them out cuz GC doesn't accept microphones back, so i don't have that 'bring it back within 30 days' deal there.... if it's Sennheiser's good for recording guitars, i'll buy it, as far as vocals go, we're gonna have 4-5 different singers on this...

here's my new concern... i went down to GUITAR CENTER to check out the microphones and talk to people.... i asked about shure's and they said they were good, but when i explained what i was gonna do ( record guitars with lots of distorsion, and vocals ) they said that there are microphones that...

same question for Behringer 802a .... i've got shure 57 -> Behringer 802a ->m-audio 2496.... is that gonna be a good combination or do i need some additional stuff? Voodoo

ok, i wanna buy some microphones... i don't have enough money, but i wanna buy some good stuff... shure 57 vs. shure 58? it's extra $50... i wanna record vocals and guitars, now i know that i'll have to buy shure 58 sooner or later, i looked it up and they say that shure 57 is good for vocals...

i see you're right, it's 75 hz ( 16 DB/ oct., or something like that ) and i don't know what it's for or when to use it.... also, right below that switch i have a gain knob that has a little 75 Hz mark, i guess i'm supposed to turn the knob to that point whenever i turn that little switch...

my home studio is finaly ready for recording and i'm not sure how to set up levels on my mixingboard.... it's a really small behringer eurorack mx 802 A ... i'm only using one chanel ( mickrophone )... what do i do with "gain"? what do i do with that little 75 Mhz pointer and that switch...

is that a rhytm machine or is it real drums? and if it's a rhytm machine what do they use?
