    Sound Forge Editing question

This may be a dumb one, but I am editing some older tracks in Sound Forge. I just purchased it and I am learning it. I have one vocal that clips, just for one whole note. Will Sound Forge offer up a way to get rid of the snap of this clipped note? What is the best technique to deal with...

    Studiophile SP-8B's On Sale

That's what I paid for the 5's not long ago from Guitar Center. This is a good price, and you get entered in to win a Jeep or something. Do I sound like a commercial?

Does anyone write christian based songs?

George, Wow, what a thead you got going here. It's amazing how you mention Christ and everyone responds. I haven't read through this whole thread yet but I wanted to let you know that I write Christian music. I enjoy all the music coming out of the "Passion" worship as well as FFH, Delirious...

    GOD F&%$n' HATES ME!!!

I had the exact same problem. I built a Athlon 1.4 gig system with a 20GB 7200 HD. I changed a couple things before I had success. I took my sound card out and did the Fdisk and reformat stuff, but the best solution was to go to the HD website (in my case it was Western Digital) and download...

    Tascam TM-D1000

JR I read your thread on the Art over at the other website. I think there is something wrong with it. There is another guy over on that web site that had good things to say about it (Flavian). I wonder how the "Really Nice Mic Pre" is going to sound...

The M4 costs how much? American Music Supply is selling the M12 for arounf 679 american dollars (round up to $700) and the M8/M4 are down in price from that. You should check it out. I am debating over going with a digital monitor right now, but if I don't I am going to go with the Spirit M...

    PA9 with ARK 24

Sorry I didn't get back sooner. Life gets in the way of music at times, ya know. You are probably right and I will check it out, but if this is the case then I will be destined to record at 16 because I need the SBLive for my general MIDI. I am using a Midi Keyboard controller which has no...

    Tascam TM-D1000

Dan, So the fader settings can be automated on the Tascam but they will not physically ride up and down, hmm. Thanks Dan, JR, and all other digital mixer owners, As long as I have your ear, I use the Ark24 which has 8 Analog ins/outs, SP/DIF, TOSLINK,ADAT/MIDI in and out. I don't know much...

    PA9 with ARK 24

I am using PA9 with the Ark24 and when I try to change the Bit rate and sample rate to anything but 16 bit and 44.1 I get the error message that the card does not support these rates. I know that the card does. Is there some easy fix to this problem? Thanks

    M-Audio SP-5B

I used to live in Point Loma. Nice area, but it has become very pricey (infact all San Diego real estate is completey out of hand). I am heading up your way on a camping trip next week. No recording, just chillin.

Mail Order vs. Pro Store Experience

I have only 1 experience with a larger mail order purchase, but I already knew what I wanted. I did the research and knew that their price was good to go. It was Full Compass, and the only problem was waiting for the product to reach me. I guess it wasn't in stock and so they had to order it...

Finding a set of cans suitable for me!

I use the 240 DF's. I have ran them through a small Mackie board, an older Marantz Amp and an older Marantz 4-track Porta studio and all had enough power for the HP's to sound great. I highly recommend them
