I have recorded in some bass with a midi keyboard for some rock tunes. At the moment I am using the Halion One instrument that comes with cubase for the bass sound. I'm wondering is there a more realistic instrument out there that I can use?
Have my first tune recorded, my speakers are pretty crap so the mix is probably pretty dodgy. It's a hard rockin tune about the insanity of rock and roll and what can happen after drinking too much wine lol. Anyway hopefully the vibe comes across. Give it plenty of volume...
I have a song with a swing rhytym and I have some basic placeholder midi drums on the track. How do I know how much swing to but on the midi drums so that it matches up with the song?

I have also read somewhere that the Mbox is not compatible with the AMD Phenom processor, is this correct?
Ive got a keystation 49e and it seems to be installed correctly and is showing up in XP's device manager as "USB Audio Device". However when I open cubase 5 and go into "Add MIDI Device", the keystation 49e does not appear on the list that pops up when I click "Install Device". So any ideas what...
I'm looking to do some home recording but I am an extremely tight budget at the moment so after I get an SM57 mic and an audio interface I will have no cash left over for monitors.
However, I have a set of these Jamo surround speakers -...
I want to start recording guitar, bass & vocals. I plan to add drums with a midi keyboard. I am on a tight budget at the moment after shelling out for a new Fender Super Champ amp so I am looking for the best gear I can get for my money.
I am looking for recommendations for
