Thanks man. Alberta is what it is. Ifound out yesterday that Alberta has a thriving River Surfing ???? Community. Being from the East Coast of canada i will be investigating this. I would think a surfable river in the middle of the prairie may have quite a deadly 'Undertoe'

Koby Drums, My E-Drums started out as a lowly no name 505 kit with rubber pads. Only original part left is the frame. I'll be honest and tell you I bought the koby pads because they are made here in the UK, they are a LOT cheaper than the roland ones and tech support is supposed to be great (never needed it so far, fingers crossed). I have a Roland TD3 brain, lowest in the chain but I use the midi out with superior 2.0. Cymbals are 2 x Roland CY8's 1 x CY12c/r and a CY-12H hats with an FD7 HH controler. It's a Koby/Roland hybrid. I find the pads excellent to play and to trigger acurately, can't fault them for the price.

Yeah, Dross has some pretty killer stuff goin on too. Talk about versatile. Sometimes, I listen to the stuff from the guys around here and wonder if I'm just kiddin myself with my stuff. You get like that? (hold me )

Yo SuprDude! Wussup baby! Got that valve junior head and tried it out. Like I was tellin MunchDude, overall...not bad but I can definitely hear what you guys are talkin about. I'm gonna do the JP snip tonite and pop in one of the tubes I have layin around but I'm also gonna snag the JJ's like you guys did. All I've got is pre tubes, no power tubes. And for 5 watts...I'm impressed.
Would you be offended or flattered if I wanted to steal yer idea about swappin the faceplate from front to back. I like the look of yours better than Epi's. I'll give you credit the first couple of times.

Browsing through you pics, I just noticed the overhead mic on your eDrums. Wow man, you are high tech.

Never even occurred to me to do a switch instead of a snip. That's a good idea. You could have both worlds then. I also saw the VJ Hot Rod comin out. Distortion, reverb and volume on it with a standby. Looks kinda cool but I think I'm still gonna go wit da VJ.
Out of curiosity, would you or someone you know be willing to fix this old heap of mine? It still rocks like a sumbitch but its developed this annoying hum that's constant. I was told its caps. Late 60's Sunn 200S head and I believe its 60 watts. Not sure tho.

Hey dude...Thanks for the info. I was lookin at the VJ and the fact that its low wattage is what I liked. Now that my old Sunn head is startin to crap out and I know nothin about caps n such...this just may be the ticket.

Hey dude,is the jp1 mod the one where you cut the wee resistor wire thingy? makes it brighter,my Jnrs always had a strange kinda howl like feedback but not the nice kind.Really noticable when you back off the vol a wee bit.
