    Teac A-4300 reel to reel. How to thread tape and play.

    I have an old open reel tape I am trying to play on a Teac A-4300 reel to reel recorder. I don't know how to thread the tape and it seems to be running very fast, like rewind or fast forware. There is not a button that says PLAY, only arrow buttons and one that says FAST. Can you help? Rick
