    The AKG is a more versatile mic, and the neumann sounds great (not that the akg doesnt as well!). What would you lot recommend? Also, I have not used the audio technica 4060, any thoughts on it?

    I have a soundblaster audigi, nothing fancy or external. it doesnt have a spidif out, it does have a "digital" out though.

    nope, the allen and heath all get used every once and a while so no luck there. Same with the roland and the tascam and the alesis. So im out of luck. Lets say I have 400$ canadian, what are my options.
