I'm exporting a song as a pcm/uncompressed wave at 44100[ i think thats the rate] Hz and 16 bit. And yet, when I try to play it on the computer music player, it can't I burn it to cd and play it on a cd player, and the track shows up with the track length it should have, but not sound comes out.

normally, i just use pcm/uncompressed waves when i export cause thats what it's on by default, but i've noticed, of course, theres several other types. Can you guys explain what these are?

who here, when recording a song on a guitar, or vocals, or bass, or anything where you repeat the same riffs in a song, play the song entirely through each session, and who will record the chorus riif, and then copy and paste wnever theres another chorus?

So, I was making a drum track for a song, when all the sudden the little graph that I put the notes in manually just runs out, and theres nothing but white left. I can still put notes in, but I have no graph to keep rhythym. How do I fix this?

I'm used to recording drummers with just a double bass pedal, but if I record a drummer with two bass drums, should I pan them both center, or each off center? Should I try to purposefully eq them differently to make them sound different, or purposefully eq them to sound the same and uniform, or...

If you record, lets say a guitarist, and he records the track, and it's pretty much perfect. no wrong or missed notes, he sayed on time, good tone, and he had really no dynamic problems. he didnt play one part a whle lot louder than another, is there any use in compressing the track?
