    Strat trem question

someone here said his trem went out of tune using lighter string gauges and switching to 10 gauge, I have never had a problem with this, I use a classic 9-42 gauge and i use it on a stock Strat Fender trem (floating), I have never had a problem with it going out of tune, I rarely play it too...

I too was like this....and then I thought...I could die in a car wreck or who knows and never really enjoyed my old Marshall and my beloved old 74 Strat..or my old SG...so I play them every every time! Not using them because they might break is silly... they might not! Key word "might".

Indeed I used Fender amps for about 10 years...I was always tweeking and trying to get more bottom end from them, I sold them and got a Laney and then got Marshall Plexi 1987 and never looked back! My buddy used Mesa's he had a Dual rectifier...nice but still didn't have that killer tone I...

The nerve of some people...I saw Yngwie on his first tour.. no one even heard of him, i think there was maybe 20 people at the Agora here in Columbus Ohio. I think I agree with everything here (tubes rule) except the "bone structure" and to be honest.. someone can in fact imitate and exact the same attack ( I'm not saying you're buddy can), go listen to Randy Hansen play Hendrix...I have no problems with people trying to get someones sound...

lol what was his point then? For my 2 cents...modeling amps have never sounded good to me, My dad knew Frank Marino's dad and I talk to Frank...when I can, (he comes to Cleveland alot) You wouldn't catch him using one. Frank mods all his own pedals and amps...he inspired me to do the same.

Looking for a Bass that would mesh well with this guitar...

stop copying and get your own sound on! There won't be any pronounced difference when using flat wounds...I will say one thing... once you feel an ebony fret board you will wonder why all guitars aren't made with them! But since your going through to what I assume is computer recording.. you...

My guitar is driving me f**king CRAZY!!

I didn't scan every comment to see if you were truly answered on this, but if you just bought this new..and it's an Ibanez S series....I noticed you didn't mention having your frets dressed...only on the top models and not even then will a guitar arrive from the factory set up or even having the...
