Using my new (used) tc m2000 for the first time today, and it rocks. Much more versatile than the m-one and m300, but on the very cheap, I think the m300 is quite good - especially the plate settings.

Very cool mic - totally underrated, and I'd buy it if I already didn't have one.

Yep, what he said. The 57 gets that low-mid thing going, and the 609 peaks in a slightly higher register, which for me tends to work better in a mix. Plus, placement is nice and easy, and I've even liked them on bass cabs paired up with something else - the 609 gets that 750 hz growl while...
