Nah unfortunately the entire backing track is on one mp3. The beat is "No sleep" by Wiz Khalifa so it already was commercially mixed and mastered, so i cant change anything. The drums are not isolated

Check your cable. Are you using the right type ie balanced to balanced? That could cause a nasty ground loop if it unbalanced I would think. Also make sure phantom power is enabled and the mic, cable, or mic pre is not just broken

The guy that sold me the cable helped me fix it!!! The snake has numbers on it that i didn't see that had to be plugged into the right channels!

Sorry, yeah I am going from the Rosetta IN to the Gr outs. The lights on the Rosetta are not flashing or anything at all. The monitor software shows zero devices connected...I wonder if the brand new cable I bought just does not work. Wouldn't be surprised with my luck haha.

Theres a certain spray that will keep the fibers in place pretty well. I forget the name though =/ I think it was like starch spray or something??
