    SoundBlaster Live! soundfonts to tracks

The other alternative for you would be to use the 'WavManager' of MR8 to export the cakewalk tracks to MR8 thru' USB. You will most likely be forced to convert your CW stereo tracks to mono before you can do so.

    Pocketstudio vs. MR-8

Hi, I actually heard the tascam and the fostex before I decided to eventually buy fostex. For an indepth review of tascam, there's an emusician review about it at : http://emusician.com/ar/emusic_tascam_pocketstudio/index.htm Several factors like the Price, wav transfer to PC(track by track...

    pro audio 9 drum options

I'm a CWPA9 user, too. I'm so excited with the way it works with fruityloops, I've never thought of upgrading to sonar. Buy, fruityloops and enjoy the ride! It's a great toy to build all the percussion you ever need!

Sonar 2 XL crashing when loading project

Most cakewalk problems are due to incompatibility with the version of windows you might be using. If this is the message you get before it crashes, 'An application error has occurred and an application error log is being generated.' Here's what you can (should) do: 1. search for drwtsn32.log...

Would DVD burners burn at 24 bit?

Thanks TexRoadKill! Actually, my intent is to be able to burn them (not archive). But most of the commercial(CD) players only play the 16bit media at this point of time. I was hoping to burn a CD at 24 bit and play this audio CD on a commercial DVD player (most DVD players support audio..so)...

Would DVD burners burn at 24 bit?

Just a dumb thought, I guess! Is it possible to burn the 24 bit recordings onto a CD-R by using a DVD burner instead of having to burn it in the conventional way(CD-RW) that reduces the bit rate down to 16?

I think the Korg d1600 plays back 8 tracks at 24 bit.

    Korg D1600 V/s Yamaha AW2816

Thanks, Green Hornet. I've been reading about your Yamaha experience in some other threads, as well. I'm also expecting some Korg user to comment about the 'sonic quality' in the D1600.

    Korg D1600 V/s Yamaha AW2816

I've almost decided I'll be buying the Korg, but is there anybody who feels that the yamaha might be a better option. I'm tired of doing my research and just wanna go grab the Korg.
