I have a MR816x interface connecting to my Mackie HR824's. I also have some Audio Technica ATH-M50's as an out as well.
I would think you would have to change windows XP soundcard to using the interface instead of the built in soundcard, but I'm not quite sure how to do that.
Hey guys,
I got a stupid question. Is there anyway you can use your studio monitors to double them as computer speakers? Like to play mp3's or songs on itunes.
I have a pair of Mackie Hr824's and am running Windows XP if that helps any.
I strongly recommend the Hohner Special 20 Chromatic in the Key of C. It's great for beginners and you get a quality harp for $20. Learn how to jam on the C, and then you can feel comfortable about buying whole sets.

What if you were to post an acoustic guitar cover while singing, and change the words to the song entirely?
You can't copyright chords...so how would they determine it is a cover. What if you just simply put "NOT a cover of so and so..." in the title or something clever.
This is where my noobishness and lack of hands on experience is going to show.
I was leaning toward the mr816, and like the m-audio, neither of them have a midi i/o on them. So if I want to use my synth as a Midi controller am I going to have to buy a separate Midi interface and connect it to...
Hey guys,
Well I'm finally ready to finish off my own little home studio for me and my band. I've been reading books and articles for the past few weeks and I'm finally ready to get my hands dirty.:spank:
I could really use your input on which interface/pre amp combo would be the best for me...
