If you're just trying to delete unneeded tracks from a finished recording, hit the EDIT TRK key, select CLEAN OUT, and select the tracks you want to erase. Then, DELETE UNUSED from the song menu to get rid of them once and for and free up memory. You can also erase songs from the SONG menu...

I believe you have to print (i.e. record) the effect if you want to use a different single effect on another track. So once you find a nice reverb setting for your vocal, you would record the effected signal to a free channel, then you can assign a different 'verb to, say, a background vocal...

You should be able to undo all that, unless you've chosen the "Delete Unused" option from the Song menu. Press the UNDO/REDO key, scroll down to the step to which you want to return, then hit YES/ENTER.

Either option is balanced, shouldn't really make a huge difference either way. I've got my KRK Rokit's connected via TRS cables and they sound fine, no noise or anything.

Does anyone have the instructions from the old tascamforums.com on how to replace the 2488neo's hard drive? I don't have an immediate need to do this, but thought it would be good to have the instructions in my file cabinet, just in case....

On the 2488Neo, I just route the return into an open track via one of the inputs. I'd imagine the DP24 is the same in this regard.
