+1 on the comitment to work on them. I have 3 Tascam ATR 60-2 machines , and a 48 I have been using R2R to record my band since about 1972. I use Nakamichi cassette when not making multitrack or 2 track masters.

Teac out sources them to a shop that doesnt do a very good job. I live in los angeles. Adrian Pro Audio in Canoga Pk is the only place to take it. Adrian use to be a tech at Teac and the best in the USA. Adrian ProAudio
40-18K. i use a klarkTeknik DN370 eq to make the response flat. if your going to be recording an 88 key piano you need woofers that will be flat at 27hz.
