    Does Portastudio 424 record your EQ settings?

    If I set the EQ on a 424, will those EQ settings go to tape, or does the tape record at flat EQ no matter what? I know it should be obvious, but I couldn't tell when I tested it. Thanks for your help.

    Hearing the tape while rewinding/fast forwarding

    Is it normal to hear the tape play really fast while rewinding and fast forwarding, or should it not be that close to the head?
