Google alerted me that you need help with upgrading your MXL with a CM-2480. Not having reply posting privileges yet, I am transmitting the information to you this way:
I have posted a link to good description of how to upgrade the Apex 460 at our Mic Output Transformer page. Just click on the Morph Audio icon. I do not have the color coding for your MXL transformer, but odds are that they are using something very similar (if not the same). Remember that BROWN/RED are the primary of the CM-2480 and that ORANGE/YELLOW are the secondary. Keep BROWN in phase with ORANGE. Also, you can refer to the CM-2480 data sheet for engineering information.
