    What file format does the MD-8 and MD-4s use when recording to DATA disks?

    I have a Yamaha MD4s and i was wondering how/what format does the Yamaha machines save the audio as when recording to DATA DISKS? I want to be able to take the DATA DISK that i just recorded to and save it onto my computer using a MD DATA driveand convert it into a WAV. file, is this possible?

    I just got a J Station, i installed the J-edit software, i have a 15 pin JoyStick to Midi cable from my computer to my J Station.I cant get the J-edit Software to Recognize my J Stion, It keeps saying J Station not found on any Midi Ports. What am i doing wrong?
