lower action - truss rod adustment - help

relief Thanks, guys. I've already cut down the saddle as far as it will go and the relief is pretty high still. The only thing I see to do is to adjust the truss. The last alternative is to fool with the nut but that seems like a luthier kind of business.

    v69 v. NTK

I am looking to get a tube mic. It appears to me that the Rode NTK and Marshal v69 present the best values. I will be recording mostly vocals (my own, I am a tenor) and acoustic guitar. Any opinions out there? Price wise the v69 of course, is cheaper.... The Rode you have to add $80 for the...

I'm going to bitch about Martin Guitars...

$ v. quality About 15 years ago I bought a Hondo dreadnaught for $200. It has a solid sitka spruce top, mahogany back and sides, rosewood fret board, grover tuners, etc. Still sounds great, plays well and looks as good as new.... I also have Yamaha's cheapest electric base which is a very...

    Best sound module?

I have a Roland JV 5080 and compared to my Motif 8 it is a piece of crap. I may end up selling it.... and I have prefered Roland over Yamaha over the years but the Motif is so good it really spoils you.

    yamaha motif 8

motif I don't know what kind of instrumentation you will use in your arrangements but I can tell you the percussion sounds on the Motif are outstanding, better than any drum machine I own, and I have two. The piano sounds are excellent and the action is better than any synth I have owned...

Thanks Thanks for sending me to quietpc.com. I put my word processing PC in the closet but my music PC has to be right next to all my gear. Looks like I'm going to have to spend about $200 to buy all the stuff to quiet it, though. Building a hush box would be cheaper but I really think I...
