Yep, if you look in my thread I've drawn up plans for both. But it's pretty outside and I've only been in my booth a few minutes at time so far... so construction has been pushed to the backburner.

The ones in my bathrooms are really noisy too, but they don't look like the picture he posted. At one of my radio stations transmitter sites I found an old belt driven squirrel cage type fan that's almost 2 feet across. I'm trying to figure out if I could rig that up to my booth. :eek:

Voice Over. Yes, the closet should work fine for absorbtion and maybe even diminish the sounds of your neighbors some if you're lucky. I just hope it's bigger than the closet I had in the dorm. Is there a light in there? Go to Bed Bath and Beyond or Linen's and things and get one of those...

1st thing: Nice office! How does it sound now? Seems to me a space that big won't need too much for recording your friend. Can you put curtains up on the windows? Gobos seem like a good idea to me.

Well it's been an ass kicker of a day today. 10pm at night and I'm just finishing up the day job. I had planned to work some more on the booth this weekend but I suspect my "honey do" list will have to take priority, especially since I didn't get to start on it tonight.

Sonic. Thanks for the compliment. It is cozy, in a good way for me I think. Yeah, I've thought about the door closer and it's an option I'm considering. First, I want to beef up the seals and make a better threshold. I should probably post the details of my door too (it's not ideal)...
