I concur… a little more low end would be great for song that has a driving beat. Outside of the technical stuff the band should be a bit tighter. Especially when the guitar and drums are trying to do integral timing riffs at the same time a slight slip of the beat here of there really stands...

Well written song... it seems the snare is driving the song, only thing I would add is bring some more snap out of the snare.

I think it depends. If you have your sound and tone then a real amp / mic is a way to go. If you like to play around with tones depending on the song then a modeler is a nice tool to have. I don’t know how many other people do this, but I think an investment in a reamping box is a smart move...
