I'm looking for a way to squeeze more tracks out of a digi 001. Does anyone know a cheap box that will run 8 discrete analog inputs to an 8 channel ADAT optical out?

thanks for your reply god. the "no intercompatablilty" thing is really obnoxious. I really like DP but since protools is what's being used in most commercial studios (at least in chicago), i feel like i should get that instead. so are digi001's stackable? I could definitely forsee myself...

so okay.. these are both eight channel A-D audio interfaces. I have a setup in mind where I'll be using these to go from and to an analog mixer. so, what is the difference? will the digi001 work with digital performer? will the motu work with protools? I'd like to think that an input into...
