anyone know where to get additional plug ins for free for use with cool edit pro?

ok heres the setup... i have a PC connected to a midiman usb midisport 4x4..connected to the midisport is a midi controller keyboard and an korg exM1R module, and I am running cubase vst.... heres the problem, when i connect the controller keybard to the module, i can change patches/midi...

ok when i burn a song off a pro cd and then burn it from a cool edit session, it sounds muffled when i play it off my cd-rom using my delta1010 as my sound card....if i play it on any other cd player, it sounds fine. the brightness issue was over EQ'ing to make up for the muffled output. heres...

ive tested it against store bought CD's and the problem lies with either the sound card or the mixer...now Ive mixed plenty of songs via adats on this mixer and so my guess is that its the sound card or cool edit...it should be noted that im running windows xp, and neither m-audio or cool edit...

does anyone know if they are compatable or if they'll be making an updated driver for it??

actually papillionIrL answered my question...now I have another question for you...i'm using a alesis studio16 console to run all my inputs....only problem is, i cant seem to get very high levels when tracking into cooledit...any suggestions?

o.k. heres the problem, i get audio when i'm in multitrack mode, but when i go to the edit window, i cant hear what i'm editing...this includes mixing as well....is there a mixer setting that i am missing?

i'll try the foam first and hopefully that will deaden the corner, as for overclocking, no. I am not.

does anyone have any suggestions as to how to silence the fans on my computer? I'm thinking that most of it is reverberant due to the tower being near a corner, but that cant be all of it...any help appreciated.
