I don't know what everyone is talking about. I can record with my Delta 66, 1010lt, and my AP2496 at the same time with no problems what so ever.

I believe this occurs when you are not logged in. It happens to me sometimes, but once I log in, everything is fine.

Ditch the soundblaster. I have an adapter that takes 2 rca cables into a female 1/8" adapter so that I can plug my headphones directly into the . No need for that Creative card.

Here is how I have done it. I put the toms on individual midi tracks in Sonar. Then I solo that midi track and run it out of my soundcard and back in to the card. The tom comes back in on an audio track that is recording. Then just pan away!

First I will assign the kick and then I will assign the snare. Now I cannot play both at the same time ( I mean I cannot hear both). In the box where you choose the drum to assign the type, which ever one is highlighted is the one I can hear.

So should I just assume that you cannot make your own kits?

Multi sync will work but spdif is better. If your buddy gets a discount, just have him pick a cable for you. As afr as funcionality and latency, ther eis no problem. I run my 3 cars at 1 ms latency and no troubles with the 14 tracks at one time.

You cannot sync the two with a spdif cable since the Delta 44 does not have any spdif connections. I have a 2496, Delta 66, and Delta 1010lt in the same system and they are working fine just using the multi card sync in the control panel. I just haven't gotten around to ordering the proper...

I was wondering which of these I shoudl use. The 2 CD set has just the samples while the DKFH 2 has a special version on Kontakt with it. For $10 more should I just get the DKFH 2?
