Yes. I currently use gentoo, and ardour. I've used two interfaces: I used to use the M-Audio Delta 1010, and now I'm using the Echo Audiofire 12, which is a firewire interface. I've never used a usb interface. Hope that helps. Is there anything else I can help you out with?
