Charlie, I recorded your lyrics a few days ago but I guess you haven't been back to the thread...check it out when you get a chance, it actually got up to #8 on Soundclick's Acoustic Vocals chart yesterday!

Hey rayc, I play "out" acoustic guitar in a Praise Band. Nothing like getting to play live. In my home studio, I have all the instruments I need and play all the parts. I have a couple electrics for sonic differences, bass, keyboard, amps for each, along with electronic drums, and some percussion stuff. Much like a lot of folks like me, I find it easy to learn some basics on each of the instruments, but difficult to master any one instrument!! I just dabble with recording and writing, but when I do complete a song, my songs have a strong acoustic rhythm because thats my best instrument, but lots of other instruments layered in to help hide my vocal. I also will have up to 3 or 4 harmonies, because believe it or not, harmonies help hide a lead vocal that is not lead vocal material. How bout yourself?
