I just purchased a Marshall MXL 2003 condenser mic, this is my first condenser,I havent recieved it yet but my questions are these: I dont have a clue how to mount it some times I've seen em upside down,and vice versa, what is the best way?...Im only recording vocals nothing else, any photos...

I just put together a demo/ep I got everything tracked on a BR8 (beats, vocals) But heres the problem I dont have studio monitors so i know my tracks might not be great quality (mixing,compression,processing etc etc)added to the fact that I dont know much about compression, processing etc...
