I just purchased a B16 on Ebay,and am awaiting it's arrival by Fedex here in PG,BC,Canada.I used to have a used A8 many moons ago,and it developed problems with the record/repro relays,and some channels would not switch to record mode,but if I remember correctly the individual record lights would not come on either.I had the relays replaced,and it was fine after that. I had to replace the reel hub bearings,and captan bearings later on as well.Finding parts will be a challenge these days.
