I have a ntk and just purchased a focusrite trakmaster for 299$. I figured it aint the best pre but the thing was a steal for 299$. What settings do I use to get a good sound? Any of you guys using this combo have any ideas?

I have heard that the digi 002 rack uses focusrite mic preamps. Does anybody know which type they use? I can't find the info documented anywhere.
