I have Athlon 2800, 512K but when I load Vsampler 3.0 that comes with Sonar it doen't play the midi track. It is responding to direct midi input from my keyboard with very disappointing latency, and that I expected. But why not play midi track. May be it's too lazy! :D

How do you prevent skipping problem? I use Wavelab to burn music. Would reducing speed of CD help? Thanks in advance.
