You can watch satellite TV with a tuner, but you have t ochange channels elsewhere. The ATI All in Wonder series cards all have coax, composite and S-Video inputs. Right now I have my cable running into the coax and a VCR going into my composite input.
On the output side it has both coax and S-Video. B4 buying a dedicated DVD player, I would run composite cables from my bedroom to my TV in the living room to watch DVD's!
It was a pretty sweet setup because I also have a RF cordless keyboard and mouse!
