Good morning all,
I am totally new on this awesome forum and am glad to be here. I am looking to buy a Tascam 42 or 52 portable (table model) tape recorder. I am ready to buy NOW. I do know that each of these recorders have a "spooling" option, unlike my present Tascam 32-2B tape deck. By the way, I recently re-located from Maryland and now live in Georgia. I look forward to meeting some of the forum members who live here.
However, I am wondering if anyone can tell me what the difference is between the various 42 models, ie, 42B, 42NB, etc? What is the benefit of having a 52 opposed to the 42 model? Does the Tascam 42 do much of what a 52 can do? Thank you so much for your support and advice. I look forward to hearing from you.
