TASCAM US - 1800 + Cubase 5 HELP.

Ok.. I have very little knowledge of cubase, or audio interfaces, or recording in general. I've used ableton 8 with my Tascam before and sound only ever came out the left monitor/ headphone. Now im using cubase and it still happens, all i want is to know how to setup cubase + 1800 to record 8 drums mics with ease and in both ears/ monitors. I'm so lost ive been looking all over google for help for this.

I also own a mackie profx12 if that helps.

First thing to try is when you create a new track in Cubase, be sure it is MONO and not stereo. With mono, you should have audio in both sides. Common mistake.
