tascam 238 I need what mixer to use

hi I just purchased a tascam 238 and need advise on what a good mixer to use. Any suggestions would be much apprecitated
 
Just get a 16 channel Mackie or something similar.

And you got a very simple but versatile set up.
Use first 8 channels for tracking, and the last 8 for monitoring. This way you can have all your recording inputs available and don't have to change anything to monitor.
When you’re all done tracking, you now have a full 16 tracks available to you on mixdown (effects returns, midi, etc.

This is a setup I used for years with great results.
 
Well a 8 channel mixer minimum with line tape switches if you can afford that. A Tascam mixer can be repaired while Mackie are throw away products made in China. The Tascam is more money when you buy it but when you have to replace the Mackie due to failure, then you pay for the item again while the Tascam can be fixed. I have worked on a lot of them and recently a M2524. I own M50, M520 and M1516 mixers now.
