New Tascam Model 24

Perhaps I've missed the thread but I haven't seen a discussion regarding this new desk top board, PC interface and more importantly for me a self contained recorder with knobs. Look guys, it has knobs!!! Don't have to use the spinny wheel and menus to adjust eq, effects, etc.. Perhaps my notes to Tascam along with many others I'm sure where read and seem to be addressed.

What to you folks think?

It looks great to me. I love Tascam...I've been using various models of their cassette 4 tracks since the early 80s. I own a Tascam US-800 interface and I also own a DP-24sd. I have a weakness for TASCAM anything because everything I have used has been pretty great since the beginning!

I am waiting a little while to see what early users have to say about it. I would like to see an option of 96khz resolution, a digital in and out, and fader automation...but at this (MY) price range that may be difficult to do...Although I would spend more if 96khz were available.
It looks pretty good, though and I might pick one up within the next year!
