T tmelvin New member Aug 17, 2016 #2 Here's what I heard from Tascam support Hello Terry, 48 volt phantom power is not available on the DR-05. It use what is called "plugin-power" which is even less than 16 volts. Stereo mics with an 1/8" inch jack like our older TM-ST2 mic can be used. Regards Brian Tascam support
