I was just rearranging my desk when i dropped an alesis midiverb II on my dp24(this really hurts::()..It cracked all the thru in a X pattern...It is still functional but it breaks my heart..can it be repaired?..i thought about taking all the glass out and replacing it with plexi glass...it would probably cost way too much to send it back to tascam....got it on sale at AMS over the holidays for 327.00..this happen to anybody?....replies would be great..Thanks

From experience I've had with displays in other gear, the screen is an integral piece of the whole LCD display and likely not replaceable.

This is a replacement display for a Boss DR-880 drum machine. It's non-color. I'd guess the DP-24 LCD to be up around $180-200(US) for just the LCD piece itself......

Contact Tascam and see what they have to say.
I should have been more clear...its just the protective screen that covers the lcd...it still works fine..thanks for the reply
