Another Quick Tascam 388 Question

Ok, got everything tracked and ready to dump down to my delta 1010lt. As of now, I've used the Tape out for each channel into each channel on my sound card. What I can't figure out is how to use the mixer on the 388 to adjust the levels of each track going into the computer. It doesn't matter if they are all the way down, or all the way up, the signal is still the same going into the soundcard. I'd like to get a good mix on the board before dumping it onto the computer.

If you're using the tape outs the mixer will have no effect, since they by-pass the mixer section.

The only thing I can suggest is that you use the PGM Buss outs instead. They don't.
 
BTW.

Why do you want to mix the tracks on the 388 before dumping them to the Delta?

Since you're obviously dumping to individual tracks, rather than a stereo pair, surely it makes more sense to continue doing what you've been doing and mix them in the box. :confused:
